Philosophy

The Make Mistakes School of Art believes that every child is an artist with their own unique perspective. Art classes are designed so that children can express that perspective through different visual mediums. The focus of learning is on the creative process of art making through guided experimentation. Children are encouraged to ‘make mistakes’ in a safe and supportive environment so they can explore their own ideas, imagination and approaches to creating art.

Missed classes

Please advise Kasia of an absence. There is no refund for missed classes but make-up time from 3:15-4pm before class for teens and bigger kids, a make-up lesson on the Monday of Week 9 will be offered to little kids and the Wednesday of Week 10 for drawing club for 1 missed class only.

If a class is cancelled

An art package of materials and instructions (that will need to be collected from the art school) will substitute the cancelled lesson. Instructions may be provided digitally in a document or via a link to a video recording.
