Preschool kids art classes brisbane

Classes

little kids

This class is for school-aged children aged 6-8 years. Every term we will have a concept, art references, specific media and a range of techniques that we are exploring together. Children will start the term with experimentation and process works and then work towards a resolved artwork or series of artworks. The emphasis is on the joy and risks they can take when creating art that truly reflects who they are while they develop their ideation and skills. The scope, sequence and potential outcomes of learning will be reviewed and adjusted as I observe the engagement, progress and learning needs of the class.

Classes for little kids will explore the same unit of work as the bigger kids but learning activities will be modified or simplified to better support their fine motor abilities, engage their attention and meet their conceptual understanding.

Classes are Mondays during the school term 3:30pm-4:30pm in a small group of 8.

Payment is $340 upfront for 8 weeks of classes ($42.50 per lesson) by Direct Deposit. If upfront payment is prohibitive for you, we can negotiate a suitable arrangement.
